You’re the best part of my life and your happiness will always be my top priority with each passing day. Thanks for making life more exciting. I love you more than you know. This doesn't put me off of reading other books by her though, because all books are different as are stories even when related by the same person.

You Can Trust Me by Kiersten Modglin | Goodreads

I’ve got a pretty strong record in guessing who has committed the crime in a thriller novel & did work this out l but it wasn’t straightforward, with a lot of suspects and my guess was mainly due to some fairly strong hints from the author at times. This was a different element of KMod. The plot was filled with deliciously devious twists, and the characters all had an element of secrecy, but the setting was scarily realistic. Trust is something so priceless and it always takes time to build trust or earn someone’s trust in any relationship. I consider myself blessed and honoured to have you and I need you to know that I will never take your friendship for granted; literally not even for one day. I love you so much, my amazing friend. I found the first part of the story most interesting because the mystery was quite intriguing. The story is divided into 4 parts, and the latter half is eyebrow raising.

Really I fluctuate between 2.5 and 3 star rating for this book, it was okay. I have bumped it to 3 as the ending I think salvaged it for me somewhat, but this book is nothing to write home about. I can think of so many other psychological thrillers I have read just this year that top this. It just didn't excite me very much and I was a little bored if I am honest for the first 60%. This read was a good one, it did have me in suspense and my favourite chapters were the ones told from the murderers’ point of view as they were dark and interesting. However, they were few and far between and Livy as the main protagonist bored me a little. UGH! I haven't liked Marley since the beginning. I always imagined her as an annoying person. I think she has something wrong inside of her head. Maybe it runs in the family and so her and Henry are like twins. Wait are they twins? Are they in the same year? And they killed their parents too... The book is set over the course of one month and when we first meet Will and Livy they are heading to a party at his bosses house. And we get to meet most of the main characters at this party which was a good way to be introduced to them. All except one – Julia – Livy’s best friend.

Falling in love with you was the beginning of a beautiful happily ever after and I want you to know that I will always respect, honour, love and treat you special. I love you unconditionally. As Livy is investigating her friend's death, her marriage and family come under strain and pressure for a number of reasons. I did find some of the choices she makes in relation to going off gallavanting being the private detective at the cost of time with her family was a bit unusual for a devoted mother. She slips into another world of excitement and danger. Got to be better than coffee morning with the mums right? When I fell in love with you, I trusted you with all my heart, my soul and my body, and I need you to trust me as I will never do anything to hurt you. I love you more, darling.
