Sydneynick, would you please tell me what information is in the Michelin one that makes it better than the AA or Collins ones? No cardholder information is ever passed un-encrypted and any messages sent to our servers from Sage Pay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering.

All transaction information passed between Guy's Magnets Ltd T/A MapsWorldwide and Sage Pay’s systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. the Michelin is also good, had several over the years, but the AA one has better defined toll motorways, think I'm on my third now.You can be completely assured that nothing we pass to Sage Pay’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

Just out of interest, one of the most useful atlasses i still use is a Michelin French Autoroutes atlas which they unfortunately stopped publishing a few years ago. The well-known road atlas of France with excellent maps on a scale of 1:250,000 with the added value of the 2800 camping and aires de service that are suitable for campers. Require fair amount of detail, if possible including campsite locations, service areas and road distance markers. Thanks for the input folks - looks like Michelin is quite a favoured map, but am also interested in the IGNG 'local' sheets - may well have to get one of each, one for the journey, one for when we get there! The Michelin Atlas is good as it has a comprehensive index that lists even the smallest village, whereas the cheaper French atlases available in the UK like the AA do not.The AA Easy Read France (A4) is my favourite, I find it easier to use over the spiral bound and the first section is made up of six large area route planning maps which are very useful for visualizing a journey.
