Similarly, the latter track has a very similar vibe and beats to ‘Hypa Hypa’ but the sexual, tongue-in-cheek lyrics such as “Sweaty, sweaty, you make my spaghetti ready, heat up the sauce, it’s a dinner for one” and 69 references are mocking cringy oversexualisation found in the pop industry. Whereas with the other 9 tracks on the album prove, they are very much in their own lane at the moment. On 6 December 2021, the band submitted "Pump It" into the German national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, [4] but ultimately were not included in the final list of participants. The vocals are annoying, the disparate elements of the music are all so brightly coloured that often they refuse to mix, instead talking loudly over each other like unfunny people who think the best bit of a joke is in how loudly you tell it.

Moving on to the album’s first single, “We Got the Moves,” this track is accompanied by a must-see music video, as the party has definitely started. Unfortunately, compared to what they’ve discovered in the rest of Tekkno, these are the weaker points.

And it says it all when Wikipedia don't even mention where they charted for any of their albums in UK and US. They have to be; there’s no way to twist this as a serious endeavour anymore, so why not crank up the unrepentant, unapologetic kitsch of it all and just go from there? None of this should work, but it just does, I have not been excited about an album for a long time as this one. It’s honestly like the band took elements of as many genres as possible, chucked them in a blender and the end result is an earworm belter that you cannot help but sing along to with every spin.

The band changed the word 'Eskimo' to 'Electric' because it can be seen as a derogatory name for the Inuit and Yupik people in Alaska. It’s the same with Pump It, and We Got The Moves, and Arrow Of Love; it’s the work of a joke band where any of hint of a pejorative in such a sentiment has been acid-washed right off, and that’s where a lot of the fun comes from.

Metalcore (or metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. What was once a band buttressed solely by the dim star of 2010s electro-metalcore is now a significant force, and as is probably expected, the timeline of how we got to this point isn’t the clearest. The hilarious matching outfits come to mind and it’s hard not to start getting pumped up to the beat (pun intended). Singles such as “Pump It” and “We Got The Moves” proved how the band sounds in 2021, delivering a decent dose of heaviness at the beginning of their new album and an irresistible chorus that makes “Pump It” a true showcase for the versatility in their sound.
