Even thought it has a beginner in its title, this is harder than Chess Tactics for Champion by Polgar.

This book has been my first serious, focused, daily effort to work on my chess (before that it‘s been all Youtube videos, some sporadic online puzzles here and there and occasionally going over master games on chessgames. So back to the point, for those of you who have gone through this book, is it supposed to be this difficult? I can personally vouch for it and say that I am now a sharper tactician than I was before I started the book and a better chess player overall.
